What we have been up to!

 4th and 5th grade have been learning about American Roots Music.  They enjoyed their trip to the New Harmonies exhibit in Bolivar.  We began learning about the topic two weeks prior to the trip through discussions and group work.  After the trip we have continued the unit through group work including multiple activities including making posters about roots musicians and instruments.  Some classes have created their own instruments with the given  materials.  This unit will be wrapping up soon!
