What we have been doing!

Third grade has been exploring many elements of music so far this school year.  They began with rhythm and steady beat.  Most recently we have explored timber (the color of music).  They did this while narrating the  book "Where the Wild Things Are".  We did this by using different instrument sounds with different words in the book.  The students had a great time doing this.  We will continue to explore timbre when we return from fall break.
